'MURICA — With the 2017 Great American Eclipse only days away, here's a complete list of the 10 best places in the U.S. to catch the August 21 eclipse.

The guys over at EarthSky.org compiled a list of the best viewing spots along the path of totality.

Folks in Madras, Oregon will get hit first at 10:19 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time with 2 minutes, 4 seconds of totality.
Next we have the people over in Snake River Valley, Idaho, who will experience totality at 11:33 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time for 2 minutes, 18 seconds.
The eclipse will then make it's way over to Casper, Wyoming with totality coming at 11:42 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time for 2 minutes, 26 seconds.
If you happen to be around the Sandhills of western Nebraska around 11:49 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time you're in for a treat.
The number five best spot will be in St. Joseph, Missouri at 1:06 p.m. Central Daylight Time.
People now have a reason to go somewhere in Illinois besides Chicago. In Carbondale, Illinois totality begins at 1:20 p.m. CDT for 2 minutes, 41.6 seconds. Don't miss that .6 seconds!
Hopkinsville, Kentucky will then get their taste of totality at 1:24 p.m. CDT.
Next up is Nashville, Tennessee at 1:27 p.m. CDT. What could be better than country music and a solar eclipse? Probably just a solar eclipse.

Hopefully the weather will remain clear for those in Great Smoky Mountain National Park at 2:35 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
And finally at number 10 we have Columbia, South Carolina at 2:43 p.m. EDT.
