AB de Villiers scores fastest 8K runs, breaks Ganguly's record

South Africa's captain AB de Villiers last broke Sourav Ganguly's record during the 3rd ODI against New Zealand at Kingsmead, becoming the fastest to score 8,000 ODI. The South African needed 182 innings to cross 8,000-run mark while Ganguly took 200 visits to the crease. The record had stood in the Indian left-hander's name since 2002.
