Indian bowler Mohammed Shami broke the 141 run partnership between de Villiers and Elgar as he dismissed the former for 80 runs, thanks to a simple catch by Parthiv Patel behind the stumps. This is the big wicket for India in the 1st session of the game. South Africa took a lead of 118 runs at the end of day 3 of the 2nd test match at Centurion.
