Shami got India another crucial wicket, dismissing Elgar for 61 runs. Earlier Shami broke the 141 run partnership between de Villiers and Elgar as he dismissed the former for 80 runs, thanks to a simple catch by Parthiv Patel behind the stumps. South Africa took a lead of 118 runs at the end of day 3 of the 2nd test match at Centurion.
