De Villiers took on Praveen Kumar in the 16th over and on the 2nd ball was smacked the ball out of the park. Next ball went for another six, following it with a Boundary, straight down the ground, off the next. Another six off the next ball. Finishing it off with a single hitting the 5th hundred of the IPL season nine. This is the fastest IPL hundred as he used mere 40 balls to reach the mark. 23 runs came from the over.
