Americans Protest Rising Drug Prices, Poll Shows

According to the latest HealthDay/Harris Poll, "Americans are dismayed by sharp hikes in pharmaceutical prices, with more and more declaring their support for price caps on prescription drugs." In the poll, nine out of 10 adults blame pharmaceutical companies either "some" or "a lot" for the high cost of health care, with two-thirds blaming the companies "a lot." 81 percent of those polled "support price controls or caps on drugs and medical devices."
