Flash mob 200-strong attacks students, cops … and a horse near Philadelphia’s Temple University

PHILADELPHIA — A crazed flash mob of 200 teenagers went on the rampage in the streets near Philadelphia’s Temple University last Friday, attacking anyone unlucky enough to cross its path.
The massive group of teens had descended on an off-campus movie theatre, responding to a social media invite to see a show.
When the movie sold out, the people who couldn’t get in turned violent quickly. At least six students were picked off in the streets and beaten up badly.
When a Temple University patrol officer stepped in to stop a boy from throwing rocks at cars, she was taken to the ground and also attacked.
Mounted police were then sent in to break up the mob and bring calm to the chaos, only to have a 15-year-old kid run up and punch a police horse in the face.
Victim Christina Lauletta was coming home from a school football game when she was kicked and stomped repeatedly. Luckily, she didn’t suffer any broken bones.
Another student said she was walking with her boyfriend when the mob separated the two and punched her in the face.
Some 50 juveniles were taken into custody, leading to four arrests on charges of resisting arrest, assault, and robbery.
