Bangladesh temple attacks: Politics erupts over Durga puja violence

Several instances of vandalism at Durga Puja pandals and attacks on temples have been reported in the last few days in Bangladesh following communal tension in Chattogram (earlier known as Chittagong) over an alleged incident of besmirching the Quran.

Meanwhile, issuing a stern warning to those involved in the vandalism of Durga Puja pandals and temples in Bangladesh, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said the perpetrators will be hunted down and punished.
