Congress on Friday lashed out at the Karnataka government over the construction of a temple inside Bangalore University and said that they should instead focus on the temple of learning. 

Students of Bangalore University in Karnataka staged a protest on Thursday opposing the construction of a Ganesh temple on campus. The students said that despite the opposition from the registrar and the vice-chancellor, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is hellbent on constructing the temple inside the university premises.
