Chinese man beaten up by angry mob for having loud sex in hotel room

BEIHAI, CHINA — CCTV footage has surfaced online showing a furious hotel guest beating up a man in a nearby room for having loud sex in China last Thursday.
According to Chinese news site WXRW123, the attacker, identified by his surname Zhang, was staying at the hotel with his colleagues when they were disturbed by a neighboring couple’s lovemaking session.
Unable to sleep and with a business meeting the next day, Zhang decided to have a word with them.
In the CCTV footage, Zhang can be seen knocking on the neighbor’s door. Zhang’s colleagues join him in the hallway while Zhang and the man, surnamed Lei, exchange words through the door. Zhang kicks the door down, and he and his colleagues rush in.
Lei was beaten and then dragged to the lobby, where the beatdown continued.
Police arrived and arrested the attackers. Zhang eventually admitted he had overreacted, and had to pay 15,000 yuan (about $2,225) to Lei to settle the dispute.
