CUBA, ALABAMA — A woman happened to catch the moment a rat snake was slithering across her yard on her cellphone.
Linda Munoz said that she recently found a snakeskin under the steps of her house. The other day while she was in her yard, she noticed the non-poisonous rat snake slithering by on its way to her barn.
Munoz took out her phone and began filming. She can be heard talking to the snake and saying, “I’m going to touch you on the tail. Let’s see what you do.”
The snake immediately coils up and assumes a striking position.
Munoz then says, “Whoa, you’re mean. Are you a bad snake?”
That’s when the snake strikes out and bites Munoz’s phone.
Luckily, neither Munoz nor the snake were any worse for wear.
