Salem State: College student bites off female cop’s ear in Massachusetts bar brawl - TomoNews

SALEM, MASSACHUSETTS — 19-year-old Emma Wiley bit off more than she could chew when she munched on a female cop’s ear in a bar brawl.
Reports indicate during the early morning hours of August 8, Salem police were called in to break up a fight outside a bar. When they arrived, they saw Emma Wiley in a tussle with another woman. Wiley had a fistful of the woman’s hair, and attempted to put her on the concrete.
The cops managed to separate the two, and as they tried to put Wiley in a police cruiser, she yelled, “I’ll fucking kill you all. Don’t fucking touch me!” The rowdy student then lunged at rookie Officer Rondinelli and locked onto the top part of her right ear. The cop managed to gouge Wiley in the eye, which forced her to release her bite, but not without taking a piece off in the process.
Officers found the chunk of ear in the backseat of the cop car. They quickly bagged it and rushed Officer Rondinelli to a local hospital. Unfortunately, Emma Wiley’s bite was so bad, it could not be reattached.
Wiley is now facing charges of mayhem, aggravated assault, assault and battery on a police officer, and making threats to kill.
