Gjashte aktiviste te Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje janë arrestuar nga policia e Kosovës pranë kufirit te Merdares, teksa qëndronin ne një minibus ne pritje për te penguar hyrjen e presidentit te Serbisë, Boris Tadic ne Kosove, me rastin e festes se ujit te bekuar. Dardan Mulliqi, nga Lëvizja Vetëvendosje deklaron për "Vizion Plus" se Presidenti Tadic nuk duhet te lejohet pasi ai si çdo here tjetër i shfrytëzon festat fetare për te bere propaganda. Për këtë arsye aktivistet e Vetëvendosjes janë mobilizuar duke u organizuar ne grupe te vogla ne kufirin e Merdares, ne Deçan dhe ne Peje. Ndërkohë, mediat serbe shkruajnë se Tadic ka mbërritur ne Merdare dhe mbetet e paqarte nëse ai do te udhëtojë me helikopter te forcave te NATO-s për ne Pejë apo me eskortën e tij. Me herët, ne Mitrovicë janë raportuar edhe te shtëna me arme çka ka sjelle dyfishim te trupave ne urën e Ibrit. Një dite me pare zëvendëskryeministri i Kosovës, Hajredin Kuçi, deklaroi se vizita e Tadic është kryer sipas procedurave te shtetit te Kosovës, çka do te thotë se kreu i shtetit serb, ka marre leje për zhvillimin e kësaj vizite nëpërmjet zyrës se BE ne Beograd.
