Japanese man stabs ex-girlfriend for refusing to take him back
  • 9 years ago
A 49-year-old Japanese man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly stabbing a 52-year-old woman in the abdomen, injuring her seriously. The accused man, Satoru Ishizaki, is the victim's ex-boyfriend. He allegedly stabbed her after threatening her at knifepoint to make her get back together with him.

The victim had reportedly told police five times since July that Ishizaki was stalking her. Before the stabbing, police warned Ishizaki and made him sign a pledge promising he would stay away from her. But Ishizaki stabbed her on Wednesday at midnight and ran away. Police found him the next day in a relative's house.

Ishizaki confessed to attempted murder, saying he lost it after the victim refused to take him back. He said she started screaming in panic when she saw the knife and claimed that he was not consciously aware of stabbing her.
