Cedric Henry was stabbed because he refused to go to a liquor store.

In many relationships there are certain moments that stand out, making a person realize they’ve chosen the wrong partner. A man in Fort Pierce, Florida probably came to that conclusion after his fiancée stabbed him.

The case is bizarre to say the least. According Cedric Henry, his fiancée, Melissa Bopp asked him to drive her to a local liquor store. At that point, Henry was already intoxicated and refused to give Bopp a ride, saying he didn’t want to drive drunk.

While that decision would be applauded by the majority of people, Bopp wasn’t happy. She became very upset and grabbed what Henry referred to as a “big knife”. She was able to stab him in the stomach.

Bopp’s child reportedly witnessed the violent crime. Henry managed to call 911 after the stabbing. Police and EMTs arrived on the scene and arrested Bopp on a charge of aggravated battery.

The victim was transported to a local medical center but his condition was not released. According to a relative of Henry’s, the couple’s wedding was scheduled to take place the week following the incident.

It remains unknown if the nuptials have since been called off.
