"F*ck the Police" T-shirt gets man pepper sprayed, detained by Baltimore cops - video - TomoNews

On the night of Saturday May 2nd, police in Baltimore pepper sprayed and detained a man that was violating the ten o'clock curfew wearing a shirt that said "F**k the Police #Fergusonuprising."

Footage of the incident shows the man standing in the street in front of police, when an officer sprays him in the face with pepper spray from close range. The man holds his ground, though he is visibly shaken. Another officer comes up from behind and pulls the man to the ground by his hair before several police drag him out of the street.

There is no footage of what happened in the moments before the confrontation, but the cops are seen putting the man in handcuffs and pouring bottled water over his face to flush out the chemicals from the pepper spray.

The curfew has now been lifted, ending a week of tensions between police and demonstrators who were protesting the death of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old man who died from serious injuries while in police custody last month. Six Baltimore police officers are now facing charges related to Gray's death.
