FIFA VP says racism threatens Russia's 2018 World Cup

Finally. FIFA Vice President Jeffrey Webb has warned Russia that with its current level of racism, the World Cup cannot be held there.
Webb, who chairs FIFA's anti-racism task force, said that Russia poses a "huge challenge... from a racism standpoint."

His concerns stem from a string of racist incidents in Russia, which include players of color being called apes or monkeys and bananas being thrown by fans.

He added that FIFA's working with Russia to strike down the problem.

That wraps it up for sports this week. Your weather's up next. Good night.
