Attack on ambassador is unacceptable attack on Seoul-Washington alliance: Park

President Park Geun-hye, who's currently in the Middle East, said... the attack on Ambassador Lippert one that is directed at the Seoul-Washington alliance... and it's simply unacceptable.
Her aides say...
the president was appalled upon hearing the news,... roughly half-an-hour after it occurred.
She expressed her hope for the ambassador's prompt recovery... and expressed her regret to his family and U.S. President Barack Obama.
The Korean government says it will do all that's necessary to resolve the case, in close cooperation with the U.S..
