Whisky.com tastes the Singleton of Dufftown Sunray. It is a Scotch whisky without an age statement. The whisky comes from the city of Dufftown, the hidden capital of the whisky industry.
The name Singelton was first used for the Auchroisk distillery. It discontinued and left the space open. Now the Dufftown distillery fills this place.

The nose:
Wonderful vanilla, very sweet and smooth, backed apples with floral notes and definitely black currant.
The taste:
Not as smooth as the nosing. Its dryer and light metallic. Sweetness from vanilla and a bit of spiciness from the oak.
The finish:
Sweet with black currant and the vanilla stays to the end.
