Reforms pledged by Maoist rulers evade Nepalese - 20 Mar 09

The UN has expressed concerns over the human rights situation in Nepal, saying the peace process is still at risk with tension between the military and its former enemy - The Peoples Liberation Army.

The Maoist government came to power seven months ago promising sweeping social changes, but life for the Nepalese has changed little.
