Coronavirus Lockdown In India: Nepalese Migrant Workers Stranded At Indo-Nepal Border In Uttarakhand

Hundreds of Nepalese migrant workers are stuck at the Indo-Nepal border area of Dharchula in Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh. Migrant workers are upset as they are unable to cross the border. They also raised slogans against the Nepal government. Migrant workers want to return to their native places in Nepal. Meanwhile, a crowd gathered outside the residence of Congress MLA Shailesh Pandey from Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur. The Congress MLA had announced to distribute free ration to the villagers. Police have registered an FIR against Pandey for allegedly violating prohibitory orders under Section 144.
