Amazon Cracks Down on Non-Compliant Employees with Return-to-Office Mandate
  • 5 months ago
Amazon is increasing pressure on corporate employees who have not complied with the company's return-to-office mandate, which requires working in-office at least 3 days a week. Employees have been warned on Amazon's internal site that those who do not adhere to the RTO policy may not be eligible for promotions. Amazon began enforcing the 3-day per week RTO policy in May, which was met with resistance from some employees who protested at Amazon headquarters. Tensions have risen between Amazon and corporate staff over the RTO mandate and recent job cuts numbering around 27,000 employees.
