Plans that looked to make transport in and out of Cardiff for major events easier have been scrapped, despite spending millions on the proposals. The Welsh government say they cannot recoup the 10 point four five million pounds on the train line, and cancelled the plans after saying they no longer offered value for money.

A barbarians player has been charged with sexual assault after three separate incidents in a Cardiff night club between the 31st of October and 1st November. 37 Api Ratoony Yawara was named in the squad to face Wales on Saturday, but instead appeared before Cardiff magistrates court the same day.

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after being found lying on the M4 motorway near Swansea in the early hours of Sunday morning. The road was closed after emergency services were called to the M4 near junction 45 at 6.30, with the man being taken to the university hospital Wales with life threatening injuries.
