The cost of living crisis is a very real worry for the people of bristol. On Thursday we will learn if the bank rate will rise for the 14th time in a row. Currently the rate is at 5% having been raised at every opportunity since 2021. Mortgage rates first increased after September last years mini budget. While the following months saw mortgage rates undergo correction the last few months have seen lender put up the cost of their deals as the bank rate faces further inflation. But what do bristolians think?
