Only once every four years do locals have their say on who runs the council. This year local elections will happen on Thursday May the 4th allowing residents in south Gloucestershire, North Somerset, bath and north east Somerset to elect their local councillor. Each of those areas have unique political distinctions but all face similar challenges due to todays current climate.
