Forty-five villages were plunged into darkness due to strong winds amid cyclone Biparjoy in Morbi, Gujarat on June 15. Engineers and workers arrived at the spot and started restoring power in the region. Till now, power in nine villages has been restored.
“Strong winds broke electric wires and poles, causing a power outage in 45 villages of Maliya tehsil. We are restoring power in 9 villages & power has been restored in the remaining villages,” said J. C. Goswami, Executive Engineer, PGVCL, Morbi.
