Several parts of Mumbai received rainfall on June 11. Flight operations in the financial capital were affected due to the weather as cyclone Biparjoy gushed over the Arabian Sea. Mumbaikars experienced heavy rain and gusty winds as the intensity of cyclone Biparjoy increased. Cyclone has intensified into an extremely severe cyclonic storm. Chaos was witnessed at Mumbai airport as several passengers waited for their flights for hours. Air India put out a statement saying some of its flights running will be delayed due to bad weather.
