Tributes have been paid to a man who died after hit by a van on North Road in Cardiff on 28th March. 54 year old Mark Lang spent a number of weeks at the University Hospital of Wales before dying surrounded by his family in the early hours on Sunday morning. His partner said he was a good man with a lot of love to give and will be sorely missed.

Castle street looks set to remain open to traffic permanently after it was temporarily reopened following the covid-19 pandemic. Future construction in other parts of the city would increase general traffic and emissions would increase in other areas if it was closed, according to research.

The Brecon Beacons national park has officially changed its name to Welsh and will now be known as Bannau Brecheiniog, following the example of Snowdonia which is now known as Eryri. The new name translates as ‘peaks of the Brychan’s kingdom’ after a 5th century Welsh king.
