हिंदी पंचांग के अनुसार, वर्ष में चार नवरात्रि मनाई जाती है। प्रथम माघ महीने में मनाई जाती है, जिसे गुप्त नवरात्रि कहा जाता है। दूसरी चैत्र महीने में मनाई जाती है, जिसे चैत्र नवरात्रि कहा जाता है। तीसरी आषाढ़ महीने में मनाई जाती है, जिसे गुप्त नवरात्रि ही कहा जाता है । वहीं, चौथी और अंतिम अश्विन महीने में मनाई जाती है, जिसे अश्विन नवरात्रि कहा जाता है। इनमें गुप्त नवरात्रि माघ और आषाढ़ महीने में मनाई जाती हैं। माघ गुप्त नवरात्रि की शुरुआत माघ माह में शुक्ल पक्ष की प्रतिपदा को शुरू होती है।। इस दौरान मां दुर्गा के नौ रूपों और दस महाविद्याओं की देवियों की पूजा-उपासना की जाती है। तंत्र-मंत्र सीखने वाले साधक गुप्त नवरात्रि में सिद्धि प्राप्त करते हैं। गुप्त नवरात्रि करने के कई कठोर नियम हैं। इन नियमों का पालन करने के बाद साधक को सिद्धि प्राप्त होती है। आइए जानते हैं कि गुप्त नवरात्रि में क्या करें और क्या न करें-
