08 Dancing and BBQ party with Thai ethnic minority in Moc Chau, Vietnam
  • last year
In my journey to explore Moc Chau, I wanted to learn more about the ethnic minority culture of the locals here as well, besides the delicious food and incredible ingredients. I knew that a good BBQ party is an excellent way to start a friendship. That morning in the market, I bought some fresh cow breasts, which was still had milk oozing out from them, and the sweetest jungle bamboo shoots I had ever taste. I learned that the bamboo shoots are only sweet before the raining season comes in March or April, you learn something new every day. My new friends were Thai ethnic minority in Moc Chau. They showed me one of their traditional dance which is called Sac Thai Khan Pieu. We had a lot of fun even though it was a cold and raining night. At the end of the night, I learned many new things about Thai culture, food, and their traditional dance.
