The Supreme Court has refused to immediately hear the petition filed regarding the Hijab controversy in Karnataka. Along with this, the top court asked senior advocate Devdutt Kamath, who urged for early hearing, not to sensitize the case. In fact, the order of the Karnataka High Court was challenged by the girls in the apex court.
