Allahabad HC adds missing sections to Lakhimpur Kheri violence accused Ashish Misra's bail order
  • 2 years ago
Ashish Misra, the prime accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case who was granted bail by the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court on February 10 will walk out of jail on Tuesday. Ashish, son of Union minister Ajay Misra Teni, could not be released earlier as his bail order excluded two sections that he had been charged under. These include sections 302 (murder) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC. After his lawyer filed a correction application to get the sections added to the bail order, the high court on Monday decided to add the missing sections.
