The last date to file income tax return for the financial year 2020-21 is 31 December 2021. Now few hours are left. Returns can be filed by tonight. So far 5.62 crore returns have been filed. Revenue Secretary Tarun Bajaj said that the work of filing Income Tax Return (ITR) is going on smoothly and continuously. A large number of income tax returns are being filed, in such a situation why people are claiming extension of income tax return filing date, its last date is today and at present there is no proposal to extend it.

financial year 2020-21 के लिए income tax return फाइल करने की आखिरी तारीख 31 दिसंबर 2021 है. अब चंद घंटे बचे है. आज रात तक रिटर्न फाइल किया जा सकता है. अब तक 5.62 करोड़ रिटर्न फाइल किए जा चुके हैं. राजस्व सचिव Tarun Bajaj ने कहा कि इनकम टैक्स रिटर्न (ITR) भरने का काम आराम से और लगातार चल रहा है. बड़ी संख्या में आयकर रिटर्न दाखिल किए जा रहे हैं, ऐसे में पता नहीं लोग क्यों income tax return करने की डेट बढ़ने का दावा कर रहे हैं, इसकी लास्ट डेट आज है और फिलहाल इसे आगे बढ़ाने का कोई प्रस्ताव नहीं है.
