Hope floats for kayaker on mission to clean up Hong Kong’s remote coastlines

Kitti Chan moved to Sai Kung, an area many consider to be “Hong Kong’s backyard”, in 2010 in search of a more peaceful lifestyle. In 2017, she started kayaking to clean up coasts of uninhabited islands around the area. Chan has completed more than 300 operations with thousands of volunteers over the past four and a half years. She hopes to inspire more people to join her campaign as well as promote waste reduction and rubbish recycling.
