Farmers' show of strength in Lucknow; several areas witness heavy rainfall, streets inundated in Bengaluru

The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella body of farmers' unions that has been leading the protest against the three farm laws, called a Kisan Mahapanchayat in Lucknow on Monday. Farmers gathered for the programme in large numbers to press for their demand for a legal guarantee of minimum support price (MSP), among other demands. Following two hours of heavy rainfall, streets in several parts of north Bengaluru were inundated on Sunday night. Complaints of waterlogging were reported from several areas in RR Nagar and West zones.
