Bengaluru Rains: Residential Areas, IT Hubs Inundated, Roads Turn Into Rivers After Torrential Downpour

Bengaluru has been witnessing incessant rains. Normal life has been disrupted. Torrential rains have caused massive flooding in the capital city of Karnataka. Many cars were left submerged under water in Bengaluru due to the heavy downpour. Many roads were left flooded in Bengaluru. Motorists were seen wading through flooded streets. Water entered many apartments in Bengaluru. The weather department said that Bengaluru is likely to receive light to moderate rainfall for two days. Manyata Tech Park near Hebbal was also left flooded after the incessant rains. Yelahanka, Nagavara, Kogilu Cross and Vidyaranyapura areas were affected. Basavaraj Bommai, Karnataka Chief Minister announced a compensation of Rs 1 lakh for house collapses. The CM released Rs 500 crore for roads and bridges. Watch the video to know more.
