A Kent MP is calling for tougher sentences for people coughing and spitting on emergency workers during the pandemic.
Sir Roger Gale is one of 16 members in the county that've co-signed a letter to the judiciary calling for a crackdown on the assaults.
It comes as new figures reveal 70 police officers have received abuse since the crisis began.
