A Kent MP's leading calls for tougher sentences for child cruelty.

Tom Tugendhat wants to introduce Tony's Law - named after 5-year-old Tony Hudgell from Kings Hill who suffered abhorrent abuse at the hands of his birth parents.

The Tonbridge and Malling MP's now calling for the maximum sentence to be upgraded to life in prison, to compensate for suffering that Tony will inevitably face for life.
