Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik called the cruise drugs case a conspiracy by BJP to move "Bollywood out of Mumbai" and alluded to the recent meetings of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with film personalities over the setting up of a film city in Noida.

"The Mumbai cruise drugs case is nothing but BJP's bid to move Bollywood out of Maharashtra. It is a conspiracy by BJP to defame Bollywood," Nawab Malik said while addressing a press conference.
