Dhanush first came onto the public glare in his late teens in Thulluvadho Ilamai (2002) and no one predicted the star he'll be like he is today. Till now, Dhanush has acted in 25 films and his song 'Why this Kolaveri Di' has garnered over 25 million on YouTube. He has won three National Awards and seven Filmfare awards. He has been pretty successful when he's ventured in Bollywood as well with his debut movie Ranjhaana with Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol. Dhanush also worked with Amitabh Bachchan and earned a lot of praise from the Bollywood superstar. Dhanush is also related to Rajnikanth.
