Chetan Bhagat is an Indian author, motivational speaker and writer for various Bollywood movies. In 2008, The New York Times stated him to be "the largest selling English novelist in India's history". Bhagat's novels have sold over 7 million copies till date. He even featured in Forbes top 100 celebrities of India in 2016. Bhagat has often faced backlash for his style of writing that many find pedantry but he has no issues in stating that he has tapped into a market unexplored by no one in India and that has made him into a brand like no other.
