Watch: Kanhaiya Kumar eyes Congress, Karnataka lawmaker demands VVIP lane; and more

Kanhaiya Kumar may join the Congress fold after his recent meeting with Rahul Gandhi came to light, sources said. Kanhaiya Kumar, who is currently a member of the Communist Party of India, is reportedly set to join Congress soon. Sources said the news of his induction will be announced after the Congress names its Bihar unit chief.
Meanwhile in Karnataka, JDS MLA K Annadani has demanded a separate VVIP lane for legislators to pass through tolls without any hassle. The Karnataka government responded saying that it’s difficult to create separate VIP lanes on state highways, which are two-lane roads.
