Hospitals not prepared to take load of pediatric patients: Dr Naresh Trehan on schools reopening

Dr Naresh Trehan, Medanta Chairman, warned everyone about the risk of reopening schools amid Covid-19 pandemic. “From the point of view of medical preparedness, we are not prepared to handle children falling ill severely,” he said.

“Schools can wait for some time more to open. We have to be cautious. Hospitals are not prepared to take the load of Pediatric Patients,” Dr Naresh Trehan added.
