A day after the Delhi government allowed metro trains to operate with full seating capacity, long queues of commuters were seen outside metro stations. “We are in the queue for more than 1 hour. It is being said that trains are running late due to some technical glitch," a commuter told ANI. The DMRC was running trains with 50% capacity due to COVID restrictions till July 25.


मध्य प्रदेश (Madhya Pradesh), उत्तर प्रदेश (Uttar Pradesh), दिल्ली (Delhi) समेत उत्तर भारत में कोरोना वायरस (Coronavirus Second Wave) की दूसरी लहर काबू में दिख रही है. कोरोना केस कम होने के बाद पाबंदियों में छूट मिलने लगी है. राजधानी दिल्ली (Delhi Unlock) में आज यानी सोमवार से अनलॉक-8 की गाइडलाइंस लागू होने जा रही हैं. जिसमें दिल्ली सरकार ने पाबंदियों में और ढील देने का फैसला किया है. राजधानी दिल्ली में आज से 100% बैठने की क्षमता के साथ मेट्रो (Metro) चलनी शुरू हो गई है। इसके मद्देनज़र कई मेट्रो स्टेशन (metro station) के बाहर लोगों की लंबी लाइन दिखी।
