‘No Deaths Due To Oxygen-Scarcity’ in Second COVID-19 Wave: Manish Sisodia Says No Data As No Audit
  • 3 years ago
Upon being asked to furnish details of deaths due to Oxygen-scarcity during the second COVID-19 wave in India, the Modi Govt in Parliament chose to say that there were no such deaths. The reason for this answer being that states had not furnished the numbers to the Union government. However, Manish Sisodia, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister said that the Delhi government did not have any data regarding deaths due to the lack of oxygen as the Centre had not let it form a committee to look into the deaths of people, who allegedly died because of the lack of oxygen in hospitals between April and May.
