The delta variant of Corona, which is spreading rapidly around the world, remains a matter of serious concern for health organizations. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), cases of the delta variant have been reported in more than 96 countries of the world. Due to this variant in South Africa and the United Kingdom, cases of corona have started increasing rapidly again, due to which many countries are moving towards lockdown again. The delta variant, which has changed to delta plus with the mutation, is believed to be 60 percent more contagious than the original alpha variant of the corona. In all the research being done regarding the delta variant, scientists are considering it to be more dangerous and infectious than other variants of the corona.

दुनियाभर में तेजी से फैल रहा कोरोना का डेल्टा वैरिएंट, स्वास्थ्य संगठनों के लिए गंभीर चिंता का विषय बना हुआ है। विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) के मुताबिक दुनिया के 96 से ज्यादा देशों में डेल्टा वैरिएंट के मामले सामने आ चुके हैं। दक्षिण अफ्रीका और यूनाइटेड किंगडम में इस वैरिएंट के कारण कोरोना के मामले फिर से तेजी से बढ़ने लगे हैं, इसके चलते कई देश दोबारा लॉकडाउन की तरफ बढ़ रहे हैं। डेल्टा वैरिएंट, जो म्यूटेशन के साथ डेल्टा प्लस में बदल गया है, उसे कोरोना के मूल अल्फा वैरिएंट की तुलना में 60 फीसदी अधिक संक्रामक माना जा रहा है। डेल्टा वैरिएंट को लेकर हो रहे तमाम शोध में वैज्ञानिक इसे कोरोना के अन्य वैरिएंट्स से कहीं ज्यादा खतरनाक और संक्रामक मान रहे हैं।
