Star Australian batsman Steve Smith is looking forward to a “physical, mental and emotional” battle when his team tours the sub-continent for eight Tests, including four against India, as part of the World Test Championship. In the next cycle, Australia are scheduled to play four games in India, two in Pakistan and two in Sri Lanka, besides 10 Tests at home. Steve Smith wants to win Test Series in India, to be played next year in WTC cycle.
India की दूसरी WTC की शुरुआत England Tour से हो रही है. पांच मैचों की टेस्ट सीरीज Team India खेलेगी. और इस दौरे के बाद भारत को अपने घर में New Zealand और Australia के साथ भी टेस्ट सीरीज खेलनी है. India ने ऑस्ट्रेलिया को बीते चार सालों में उसी के घर में दो बार टेस्ट सीरीज में मात दी है. ऐसे में ऑस्ट्रेलिया का सपना बदला लेने का है. टीम के स्टार बल्लेबाज Steve Smith का सपना है कि India को उसी के घर में टेस्ट सीरीज में मात दूँ. आपको बता दें, Australia का एशिया में हालिया रिकॉर्ड काफी खराब रहा है. India में तो पिछले 17 साल से ऑस्ट्रेलिया जीत के लिए तरस रहा है. उसने आखिरी बार यहां पर साल 2004 में सीरीज जीती थी.
