Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng gives donation to rehabilitation centre with flying white flag

When Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng saw a Facebook posting of the Fupin Medical Rehabilitation Center hoisting a white flag at their premises, he decided to pay them a visit to offer some help.
There are 13 people in the centre, some of whom are paralysed. When they found out about the campaign they put up a white flag which resulted in some Malaysians coming to their support. Lim also called on the public to help out if they have the means.
The white flag or #BenderaPutih campaign was started by social media users who called on Malaysians who are in need of help to place a white flag outside their homes so that other Malaysians can offer assistance.
