Colleges Reopen In Odisha With COVID-19 Guidelines | OTV News

All higher educational institutions including engineering colleges reopen in Odisha today with strict adherence to COVID-19 guidelines. This includes using face-masks, sanitization, and maintaining proper social distancing. Physical classes are resuming for students who are pursuing their final year of both undergraduate (UG) and post graduation (PG).
The decision was taken after a decrease in COVID 19 cases in the state. This was also done to make up for the academic loss for students caused due to the discontinuation of physical classroom teaching since March 2020.
However, to compensate for the lost days, physical classroom teaching shall be conducted on all days except the examination period, Sundays, January 26 (Republic Day), February 16 (Saraswati Puja) and 1st April 2021(Utkal Divas).
