Colleges In Odisha Likely To Reopen At The Start Of New Year

Secretary of the Odisha Higher Education Department, Saswat Mishra said that the State government will take the final decision regarding reopening of colleges. But they are hopeful that colleges may reopen soon. Under Graduate and Post Graduate semesters will be postponed.

At least 70-80 days of classroom teaching will be ensured following which the exams will be conducted. According to Mishra, if the re-opening of colleges gets further delayed, the State Government may think of reducing the syllabus. However, he also said that the success rate may fall if exams are conducted solely based on online teaching.
